Dear Entrepreneurs and Company Managers,
If you want to be a part of a representative class of professional entrepreneurs and managers, who are able to act efficiently in a competitive market, you have found the right place.
My name is Ken Morse and I am the Managing Director and founder of MIT Entrepreneurship Center. I have over 35 years of experience in global high tech sales and sales management.
I am a co-founder of six high-tech companies, together with my MIT friends and classmates. Five of these companies (3Com Corporation, Aspen Technology, Inc., a trading company, a biotech company and an expert systems company) had successful IPOs or mergers. I spent five years in Beijing where I established a commercial consultancy company under the aegis of Chase Manhattan Bank, with the purpose of supporting American technology-based companies, such as IBM, General Motors, Gillette, Hughes Aircraft, Mine Safety Appliances, Waters Associates etc., enter the Chinese market. I subsequently moved to Silicon Valley as founding member of 3Com Corporation.During my thirteen years as founding Executive Manager of the MIT Entrepreneurship Center, the number of students attending Entrepreneurship Courses increased from 220 to 1600 per year, while the number of professors grew from 3 to more than 36. I was named “Education All Star” by “Mass High tech” magazine, and I am on the MIT Enterprise Forum Global Board. I am a member of the National Advisory Council on Innovation & Entrepreneurship and I am a member of the Council for Foreign Relations (New York). I am also a Visiting Professor at the ESADE Business School in Barcelona and I hold the Chair in Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Competitiveness at the Delft University of Technology (The Netherlands). I have been delivering Entrepreneurship Skills Development workshops in Europe, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, Canada and S.U.A. for more than 8 years. When I am not helping young companies succeed, I enjoy sailing my 50-year old wooden boat with my family around Cape Cod.
With the help of the Post-Privatization Foundation, starting from January 2012, I will be in Romania for the second time to deliver the Business Mentoring Program courses. During this half year program, I will be by your side to share my experience with you and to support you in your attempt to bring your business to the next level.
However, places are limited, meaning that to be accepted to the programme, you have to first apply. We will only select the best.
